This complex is Disney’s answer to providing family value accommodations on property at the Orlando resort. The project is composed of 10 four-story guest room buildings, three swimming pools, and a 70,000 square foot Commercial Building which houses the registration, retail and food court with kitchen facilities. The guest room buildings have 864 standard rooms and 1120 suites. The residential buildings are themed on four Disney/Pixar animated movies; Little Mermaid, Lion King, Finding Nemo and Cars. The structure utilizes tunnel form concrete construction with an exterior corridor configuration. Four themes are extended to the exterior areas and are organized around the central check-in facility with on site parking adjacent to all of the guest room buildings. Seven of the 10 residential buildings have water view with pedestrian circulation along the waters edge. With over 960,000 square feet of guest room space, it is one of the largest value project resorts on Disney property.
